What inspired you to start volunteering?
The need for female representation on club boards, as race directors, as coaches, as ride leaders.
What do you enjoy most about volunteering?
Helping an individual reach a goal or overcome a fear.
What has been your favourite memory from volunteering?
Watching all of the young athletes get stronger every single day.
What advice would you give to a new volunteer or someone looking to get into volunteering?
You do not need to be the strongest cyclist in order to volunteer in any form at a club or a team. People of all levels are needed to lead.
