Always In Motion

Team Ontario for the 2023 Canadian BMX Championships in Drummondville, QC.

Provincial BMX Coach Britney Hovencamp will be leading Team Ontario with the support of Coach Josh Samells. The two-coach team have been working with these athletes alongside their individual coaches through the Winter and Spring. Coach Britney shared her enthusiasm for racing to begin in Drummondville next week, “Throughout the past 6 months the Ontario Riders have been putting in a great deal of work both on and off the track. We have been training at Joyride 150, Rockhill BMX Supercross track, and the Pan Am BMX track, and have seen amazing improvements and effort from each one of the athletes. In a little over a week, they will be competing at the 2023 Canadian BMX Championships in Drummondville Quebec, and I expect to see some amazing accomplishments from these riders.”

Kevin Iwasa-Madge, Lead Sport Scientist for Ontario Cycling will also be on-site in Drummondville supporting the athletes and coaches leading into the race weekend. Kevin’s expertise and support will ensure our Team Ontario athletes have everything they need to race hard and endure the long weekend.
