2022 CX OCup Series Points

August 25, 2022

Congratulations to our 2022 CX OCup Series Winners! This year, there were a total of 4 OCups and Provincials – beginning at Hardwood Ski & Bike in Oro-Medonte in October to Baseball Cross in Barrie in November! Thank you to everyone who came out to race at the OCup Series throughout the CX season. We hope to see you next year!

Special mentions:

  • Perfect 100’s – 3 riders scored a perfect 100/100 points available by participating in and winning all 4 OCup’s of the series. Congratulations to Joshua Tyers, Elly Moore, and Evan Moore for accomplishing this feat!
  • Hot Battle for the Podium – in the Elite 3 Men category 3 riders vying for the final step on the podium finished within 1 point of each other! Great racing Austin Rankl (45pts), Brady Stewart (45pts), and Andrew Lambert (44pts).

  • Youth Takeover – in the Elite 1/2 Men category both the 2nd and 3rd steps on the podium were earned by riders 18 or younger, congratulations Theron Inglis and Ashlin Barry. In fact, 6 out of the top 10 riders ranked in E1/2 Men were 18 years old or younger!
