Gravel – Paris to Ancaster

April 27

Gravel rider riding a trail in muddy racing kit text reads "gravel"

For over a century the roads of northern Europe have been home to the toughest bicycle races in the world. The most famous of these, Paris to Roubaix, takes place each spring over brutal cobblestone roads that have been preserved in their historic condition for over 100 years. Inspired by this classic race, the Paris to Ancaster has taken place since 1994 over the roughest farm lanes, trails and gravel roads we can find. We welcome the largest field of riders assembled in Canada for the Paris to Ancaster 2025. Join us on April 27, 2025, to become part of the history of this unique race, Canada’s Spring Cycling Classic. New this year P2A is part of the UCI World Gravel Series.

NEW Initiative:

At this year’s race they have organized a new initiative for Ontario-registered cycling clubs. This year, they’re offering clubs a dedicated space at the finish line, including parking and an area to set up a tent. This will give clubs a place to support their riders, helping more local cyclists feel confident taking on P2A. They understand that for some, the event can seem intimidating, but with the backing of their club, riders will have the support they need to have an even better experience.
