Ian Ackert and Isabella Holmgren captured the Junior Men and Women’s titles with performances, which saw them take an early lead and never let up. In the U23 Men, Luke Valenti was patient and fought through a tight race to win the gold.

The Elite Men’s race became a battle of Ontario with 5 of the top 6 places going to Ontario athletes, including all three podium positions with Tyler Clark taking the top spot. In the Elite Women’s race, Ava Holmgren (17), who upgraded for the race, was able to keep the other competitors behind her to become the new Elite Women’s national champion.  Congratulations to all the Ontario athletes who competed on the weekend.
