Levis, QC played host to the 2025 Canadian Cyclo-Cross Championship which saw Ontario athletes show their strength by getting on the podium across numerous categories. Tyler Clark got out front early in the Elite Men’s race and was able to hold off challengers capturing the national title. This is Tyler’s second Elite title, having taken the top step on the podium in 2022. In the U23 Men’s race, Alexander Woodford took home the bronze medal.
The U19 Men’s and Women’s races demonstrate the depth of talent from Ontario. In the Men’s race athletes took 4 of the top 5 placings. This was highlighted by podium finishes by Sagan Goertz (silver) and Evan Moore (bronze). Not to be outdone, the U19 women put athletes in the top 5 of 6 placings. This included podiums from Elly Moore (silver) and Alexa Haviland (bronze). Despite these impressive showing, the U17 Women might have made the biggest statement about where Ontario’s talent was coming from with a Durham Shredders podium sweep of Nicole Haviland (gold), Anna Christensen (silver), and Charlotte Caners (bronze).
Congratulations to all athletes and coaches involved in the Championships.
