OC Women’s Spotlight: Bonnie London

Bonnie London

Bonnie London serves as Chair of the Board for Rolling Horse Community Cycle, a grassroots nonprofit in Aldershot committed to making cycling accessible for everyone. Through affordable bikes, full‑service repairs, and programs like youth mechanic training and school‑based clinics, Rolling Horse creates opportunities for confidence, connection, and community.

Bonnie’s leadership blends creativity, strategy, and heart. She champions programs that empower children, support families, and help newcomers feel at home across Hamilton’s neighborhoods. This year, she is helping guide Rolling Horse’s ambitious Build‑a‑Bike Campaign, designed to dramatically increase the number of bikes available for children who deserve the joy and independence of riding.

To Bonnie, a bike is more than a mode of transportation — it’s a doorway to belonging, confidence, and the quiet magic of moving forward under your own power.  She often reflects, “Every child deserves the simple thrill of riding a bike — the wind in their hair, the independence, the confidence that comes from moving forward on their own.”

During Women’s Month, she celebrates the women who ride, repair, volunteer, donate, and dream alongside her. She often says, “Every bike we build builds someone’s future,” and she leads with a deep desire to ensure that future is bright, inclusive, and rolling forward.
