Women’s Month – Minii Adventures Ride & Refine +Après

Join Minii Adventures for an exciting evening on the trails as we celebrate Ontario Cycling’s Women in Cycling Month! This free, no-drop group ride is designed to help you build confidence, refine your skills, and have fun in a supportive, welcoming environment.

What to Expect:
✅ Ride & Refine: This is more than just a group ride! As we explore the trails together, we’ll break down real-time trail features, discuss key techniques, and provide individual feedback to help you ride with more control, flow, and confidence.
✅ Skill Progression on the Go: Learn how to adapt your riding to different terrain, improve your technique, and unlock new levels of confidence—all while having fun with a great group of women.
✅ Supportive Community: Meet fellow riders, share experiences, and be part of an inclusive, encouraging space where everyone is welcome.
✅ Après at Handlebar Grill & Café: After the ride, stick around to unwind, connect, and enjoy some well-earned post-ride treats with fellow riders.

THE DETAILS

  • Date: Wednesday, May 3
  •  Timing: 6:00 – 8:00 pm
  •  Location: Trail Hub 722 Chalk Lake Rd, Uxbridge
  • Learn from professional mountain bike coach Charlotte Batty: Charlotte is a passionate local rider who is knowledgeable and inspiring and breaks down skills into simple and actionable steps that are easy to remember.
  • Skill Level: Beginner – Intermediate.
  • Riders should be comfortable on blue intermediate singletrack.
  • Group Size: 8
  • Available for: All women age 18+
  • Investment: Free!
  • Once you register, you will receive a confirmation email. We will contact you again the week before your Ride with the fi nal details, including the meeting location and what you need to bring.

A LOOK AT THE RIDE & REFINE EVENING:
> 5:30 – 5:55 pm Check-in & Chats
Meet your coach, Charlotte, at the check-in location and get yourself settled and prepped for the ride.
> 6:00 – 6:15 pm Kick-Off & Intros
We’ll kick off the evening with some fun intros and ice breakers, bike & equipment checks and a run-down of the evening’s schedule.
> 6:15 – 8:00 pm Ride & Refi ne
We’ll hit the trails for your guided ride. Coach Charlotte will highlight skills and techniques that can be used based on the terrain and provide opportunities for refi nement for each rider.
> 8:00 – 8:30 pm Après
We’ll head to the patio and enjoy some well-earned treats to wrap up a great evening on bikes.
> 8:30 pm Wrap Up, High Fives & Farewells
We’ll answer any last questions before high fives and saying our farewells.
