The Golden Horseshoe Cycling Hub, established in 2022, is a cycling community for kids, families, and riders of all ages to build confidence on the bike. Based in Hamilton, GHCH focuses on skill development, safety, and most importantly, FUN, through a variety of programs and positive mentorship.
GHCH’s program stream was intentionally designed to create a clear pathway from their HopON program for kids learning to ride a bike, to Team GHCH for riders looking to race locally and provincially, as well as other programs including Rally Riders, Gear Girls, and their Strider Bike Program.
GHCH encourages cyclists to find a club that makes you feel welcomed, supported, and excited to show up, because when you enjoy the people, you ride with and the environment you are in, everything else falls into place. GHCH sets themselves apart through their family-first culture, incredible volunteer coaches, and their commitment to making cycling accessible, inclusive, and empowering every rider. Whether you are brand new to riding or looking to complete, GHCH offers an inclusive, welcoming pathway for everyone to belong – “you don’t have to ride with us to be part of the Hub”.
