As the 2025 Road and Gravel season comes to a close, Ontario Cycling (OC) is proud to look back on a year marked by thrilling competition, expanded opportunities, and continued growth for riders across the province.
This season included 23 sanctioned events, ranging from Gran Fondos and regional rides to charity events. Highlights included five Ontario Cup (OCup) races, three Provincial Championships, and the Para Festival. OC once again teamed up with Performance Driven Events to deliver three OCups and three Provincial Championships. In partnership with Limestone City Cycling, we added two additional OCups and brought stage racing back to Ontario.
The season launched at Henderson and broke new ground with our inaugural OCup at Mt. St. Louis Moonstone. Riders also returned to beloved classics like the Kingston Classic and Lansdowne Road Classic. The series concluded in Dunnville, where youth racers were given a safe, dedicated criterium to cap off the season.
