Ontario Cycling is excited to announce a strong team of athletes and coaches that will represent Ontario at the upcoming Canada Summer Games hosted by Niagara this August 2022. The cycling events at the Games will include Mountain Bike [XCO, Team Relay, Eliminator] and Road Cycling [Time Trial, Road Race, Criterium].
The Canada Games provide one of the few opportunities for developing athletes to experience a “Games” setting. Athletes will learn to adhere to overall Games protocols, live in an Athlete’s Village with shared-multisport accommodations, experience opening/closing ceremonies, and having their performance contribute to Ontario’s point total to capture the Canada Game’s Flag [overall highest scoring province].
