The Provincial Government will move into Step 3 of the Roadmap to Reopen plan on July 16, 2021

It has been a very long and challenging time for many within the cycling community and the move to step 3 provides a significant move towards what we now refer to as normal cycling activities.  Under the new regulations, clubs/team are able to resume group-based riding without the requirement of masks or distancing [while engaged in the sport/physical activity] and mass start events/races will be permissible [with additional restrictions and risk mitigation requirements].  Please see the Return to Sport Update V16 for further details and additional requirements under the new regulations.

While we are extremely excited with this announcement, we must also understand that the pandemic is not over and we must all do our part to minimize the spread by following safety guidelines, wearing masks/distancing when not engaged in activity, and staying home if feeling unwell.  We also ask that you be patient and understand that many will not be ready to return to group-based participation immediately and will require more time to feel comfortable.

Thank you to all our members for your patience and support over the past 16+ months as we navigated the process to return to safe cycling activities.
