With a good mix of flat, downhill and climbing sections the Richmond UCI World Championship Course provided a nice challenge for riders. The course featured two separate sprint challenges and two hill climbs every lap, giving riders the chance to earn ‘power-ups’ each lap.
A total of 323 racers took part in the race including 73 OCA registered racers. With a large group of racers from the Chilean Triathlon team taking part, it was a more competitive race especially in the ‘A’ category.
Series organizer Andrew Paradowski was once again joined by Steve Fleck on commentary. The duo provided engaging play-by-play of the race as well as discussing the racers involved incuding those in the youth categories.

For Race Eight anyone who wants to race must register HERE by 6:00pm on Friday June 19th. This allows us to create start lists and finalize results. While racers are allowed to take part in the race without registering, their results will not be captured by the OCA.
This is the FINAL race in the OCA Indoor Road Race Series and we will end it with a bang by racing the virtual 2019 Worlds Harrogate circuit. Located in Yorkshire, UK this was the most recent Road Worlds route and it features beautiful scenery and an uphill, straightaway finish that will cap off the series in exciting fashion.
Racers are also reminded to modify their Zwift username to include their category code so everyone knows what category they are racing during the event. If youth or women racers wish to participate in a category outside of the ‘D’ or ‘E’ category respectively, please contact the organizer prior to registering.
