DESCRIPTION:Tour for Kids Ontario is a one-day charity cycling event in the Toronto Area. Winding its way through the beautiful Halton Hills and Caledon regions\, this fully supported event will include distances of 55 and 110 kilometres.  \nFor nearly 20 years\, Tour for Kids has been uniting the cycling community while raising funds and awareness for childhood cancer in Canada. DESCRIPTION:Welcome to the 2023 edition of Thousand Island Gran Fondo!!  A tougher pre-event challenge\, better swag and a reverse loop on the in person ride day. Yes – new route on the ride day! This way you can take in the 1000 Islands in a whole new way. \nYou Will Need to Complete 3 Individual Challenges\nChallenge #1: Complete 500km in the month of June and receive a pair of DeFeet fondo socks.Challenge #2: Complete 750km in the month of July and receive a Thousand Reasons to Ride T-Shirt.Challenge #3: Complete 1000km in the month of August and receive a Thousand Reasons to Ride Hoodie. \n2023 Thousand Islands Gran Fondo In-Person Ride on September 10! \nWe have three different routes you can ride on September 10th: 80km\, 120km and 160km. This year we will reverse the loops! This way you can see the Islands in a whole different way.  The River Mill Restaurant will be right at the finish line to provide some great post-race food and drink as you sit back on the patio and take in the great view. SUMMARY:Road - Grey Highlands Gran Fondo - Markdale
DESCRIPTION:Grey Highlands Gran Fondo starts and finishes in the Village of Markdale\, 150 km north of Toronto on Hwy 10. Routes meander through beautiful Grey Highlands passing through Walter’s Falls\, Bognor\, Meaford\, Thornbury\, and the picturesque Beaver Valley. \nOur 27k route is family friendly\, while the 70k and 135k routes will challenge intermediate and experienced riders. Conquer Scotch Mountain on the 70k. Climb out of the Beaver Valley to Epping on the 135k. All routes feature quiet rural roads\, rolling terrain and spectacular views at every turn! Grey Highlands is truly a cyclist’s paradise! \nThis event is sanctioned by Ontario Cycling\, and is limited to 400 riders\, so register early! SUMMARY:Road - Ontario Cup #2 - Harrisburg Classic
DESCRIPTION:For the 2023 OCup Road Series\, Ontario Cycling is partnering with Performance Driven Events for three OCups and the Provincial Championships. Riders will be racing on two new courses in Bradford and Lansdowne and the Harrisburg Classic Road Race for 2023. \n\nTech Guide\n\n\nIndividual Registration\n \nNew Course in Harrisburg\, Ontario\nWe’re pleased to announce the Harrisburg Classic Road Race as a substitute for the Ontario Cup #2 Northumberland Classic Road Race 2023\, which had to be cancelled due to poor air quality! Ideally situated in southwestern Ontario\, the course is just over 15km in length\, with 114 meters of climbing per lap will be hosted on September 17th\, 2023. The roads themselves will have you thinking you’re riding through the European countryside as you twist and turn through Brant County. Intersections will be controlled by the Hamilton Police Service\, and Odyssey Medical will supply medical coverage. \n \nNeutral Mechanic – Dan Horn

SUMMARY:Road - Camp Fire Ride - Orangeville\, ON
DESCRIPTION:We are riding to raise funds to support Campfire Circle\, a privately funded\, volunteer-based organization that provides kids with and affected by childhood cancer. The camp strives to provide kids with unique opportunities to growth through challenging\, fun\, enriching and magical experiences. \nThere are two distances to choose from during registration: \n\n\n70km: 1 pace group travelling 25km-27km per hour \n\n\n100km: 2 pace groups: \n\n\nClub pace = 30+km per hour \n\n\nCausal pace = 28km-30Km per hour \n\n\nRest Stops – We encourage all participants to prepare themselves with adequate fuel and hydration for the duration of the ride. DESCRIPTION:Enjoy late-summer cycling at its finest. Starting in picturesque Dundas\, our longer routes climb the Niagara escarpment\, wind along paved rural roads through rolling countryside and pastoral landscapes before returning down into the valley. \nYour lunch will be waiting for you at the Taste of Dundas outdoor food court in the picturesque Dundas Driving Park. Choose your meal from a selection of flavourful local fare\, then pair it perfectly with cold craft beer or Niagara wine. \nA meal voucher is included with registration in any of the four sports-cycling rides (36 km – 100 miles). Beer and wine will be available to purchase separately. \nE-bikes are welcome. \nSupported Routes \nThe Olympian – 100 miles – Conquer this classic Imperial Century (161 km) with over 1\,000 m of total elevation gain. This route incudes a short 18% ascent (10 m climb) and a serpentine 10%+ descent. Be prepared! \nThe Countryside – 100 km – Rise to the challenge of completing your Metric Century riding through the rolling rural countryside of Flamborough farmland with over 600 m of total elevation gain \nThe Pastoral – 60 km – Start your ride with a gentle climb to the pastoral landscapes of West Flamborough. Less than 500 m of total elevation gain. \nThe Idyll – 36 km – Surround yourself in idyllic scenery as you rise up through the Dundas valley and then enjoy the descent.
