DESCRIPTION:Youth athlete development is a complex phenomenon. Young athlete’s performances can improve for a number of reasons\, including: rates of growth and maturation\, energy system development\, skill acquisition\, tactics\, effort level\, and more. But how do we know if these improvements are sustainable through a young athlete’s career? And what is the role of the parent in this development process? This session is designed for parents and supporters of young athletes.
