DESCRIPTION:Milton Public Library partners with Ontario Cycling to deliver the HopOn program within the Milton community! This program is to bring girls together through cycling\, with female coaches to help facilitate. \nHopOn is a games-based cycling program that teaches school-aged kids across Canada the joys of cycling safely. In partnership with Peterborough Cycling Club\, kids will learn valuable skills in accordance with HopOn levels 2 and 3. Kids will have fun learning to brake\, stand\, corner\, ride any terrain they come to\, and much more through the fun of games and with the safety of certified instructors! \nThere will also be a guided tour of the Milton Velodrome prior to the start of the program. Come learn all about the buildings legacy\, the olympic athletes that train there\, and all about cycling! \nRegistration

DESCRIPTION:Take advantage of Loyalist Townships pristine asphalt for routes along the waterfront of Hay Bay and Lake Ontario. \nThis ride is not intended to be a race.  Although there is not a set pace or pace groups\, the intention is for it to be a fun ride with friends old and new.  The vision is not to restrict pace but also not to encourage racing.  Ideally small or large groups of similar abilities will form within each ride distance and everyone will have fun riding with others.  The event is not to be an officially timed event and there will be no awards or podiums based on finish time\, age groups etc. \nThe after ride party will include food and drink for all participants including a meal choice and beverage choice of 1 alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverage. \nRegistration Link \nTech Guide (Coming Soon)
