SUMMARY:Hardwood Fall Epic 8 Hour
DESCRIPTION:The Epic 8 Hour Mountain Bike Relay is all about the camaraderie\, sportsmanship and the gritty\, hard-core enjoyment of riding with friends. The Epic 8 Hour relay is a personal or team challenge to complete as many laps as possible. Whether riding just for fun\, or vying for a podium spot in your category\, the Epic 8 Hour will be a memorable experience. Using Ontario’s premier Mountain Bike destinations and trails\, the Epic 8 Hour promises the best in facilities\, fun\, varied courses\, and support for riders. \nThe Epic 8 Hour takes place over an 8 hour time frame on a 10 km course which starts and finishes at the same location. The object is not to finish first\, but to complete the greatest number of laps before the end of the event. There is a Solo category for the hard cores\, but most people do it as a (2 person\, 3-4 person\, or 5-6 person) team. Only one member of the team is on the course at any one time. SUMMARY:CX OCup #4 - Prologue Cross
DESCRIPTION:Prologue Cross returns to Elgin Park in Uxbridge on Sunday\, October 18\, 2026\, for a full day of Ontario Cycling Cyclocross O-Cup racing\, beginner-friendly riding and community fun. \nDesigned by Jeff Faulds\, the course will use the park’s varied terrain to deliver a true cyclocross challenge\, with tight turns\, changing surfaces\, short climbs\, barriers\, dismounts and fast transitions. \nIn addition to O-Cup racing\, the event will include an untimed Try-a-CX session for adults and youth\, a dedicated timed women-only beginner race\, and a kids’ fun course for riders aged 12 and under. Cyclocross\, gravel and mountain bikes are welcome for the beginner events. \nSpectators can enjoy the action from the Second Wedge beer garden in the little red barn\, along with food\, coffee from Bridge Social\, music\, professional race announcing and on-site support from Uxbridge Physiotherapy. \nNet proceeds will support the Uxbridge Hospital Foundation. DESCRIPTION:Get ready for midweek cyclocross racing with Pulse Racing’s Wednesday Night Cyclocross Series at Hardwood Ski and Bike! Running Wednesday evenings from September 9 to October 28\, 2026\, the eight-race series welcomes riders of all ages and abilities\, whether you’re trying cyclocross for the first time or looking to sharpen your skills throughout the season. \nRiders will tackle multiple laps of an approximately 3 km course featuring a mix of grass\, sand\, hard-packed dirt and double-track ski trails. With categories for youth\, beginners\, juniors\, open and masters riders\, there’s a race for everyone. \nRace just one Wednesday\, join for a few\, or take on the full eight-race series. Racing begins at 6:00 p.m. each week\, making it a great way to add some cyclocross action to your week! \n  \nRegistration (Coming Soon)

It’s the perfect way to build endurance\, sharpen your skills\, and connect with a lively cycling community.
