SUMMARY:Road - Tour de l'avenir MaKadence
DESCRIPTION:The “Tour de l’Avenir MaKadence” is a 5-stage event taking place from August 8th to August 11th  2019. The Quebec City region\, located between the St-Lawrence river and the mountains\, will be the playground of the athletes from all over North America who will race to grab the highest honors of this first edition. \nWhile the current world situation puts a good part of the cycling season in question\, the Makadence Tour de l’Avenir organization continues to work hard to see your young riders in action in our beautiful capital city. We hope with all our hearts that the situation will improve by August so that the event can be held in harmony with a peloton. As the weather is uncertain\, we have decided to postpone the registration of teams until a time when we can guarantee the running of this event that is so important to us. We are open to all your questions and will try to answer them as best we can.

SUMMARY:Road - Gran Fondo Lake Huron - Southampton\, ON
DESCRIPTION:New in 2023\, we have 3 brand new courses being offered. Our new 1k Kid’s Ride will be held on Saturday with the main rides on Sunday\, August 20th. We have also added a 10K Ride and an 80K Gravel Ride to our Rides. To add a little more to our 2023 Rides\, all of our routes are being done in reverse for a new ride experience! \nStarting and finishing in beautiful Southampton\, Ontario\, the Gran Fondo Lake Huron welcomes cyclists of all levels\, offering scenic rides. Choose your distance and pedal your way to Hospital Hero status! \nSince its start in 2018 (no event in 2020 and a small virtual event in 2021 due to Covid) riders and sponsors in the Gran Fondo Lake Huron\, presented by Bruce Power & Suppliers have raised over $843\,000 and this year your fundraising will mean that you and all the other fundraising riders will have raised over $1 million dollars which goes to supporting healthcare and hospital needs for our local and regional hospitals. You’ve helped fund numerous life-saving items like defibrillators\, crash carts and cardiac monitors\, not to mention finishing off the CT scanner campaign last year with your fundraising. \nWhen you register for the Gran Fondo Lake Huron you are signing up for a fundraising mission first and a bike ride second. 100% of rider raised dollars this year will go toward Grey Bruce Health Services new mental health and recovery centre that will serve residents across Bruce and Grey County. It’s easier than you think! Once you start sharing the link with friends\, family and co-workers to your personal fundraising page that automatically generates in race roster when your register you’ll be well on your way to meeting or easily surpassing that fundraising goal. \n\n\nWebsite\n\n\nRegistration\n\n\nRoutes

SUMMARY:Mountain Bike - Coulson's Hill Weekly MTB Series - Bradford
DESCRIPTION:This local series has run non-stop since the early 90s – making it one of the longest running cross country mountain bike events in the country. With a focus on fun\, family\, and progression of skills and fitness\, we have turned rookies into passionate cyclists and veterans into champions. Our forest is the “home track” for Canadian National Champion Andrew Watson\, Olympian and Hour Record holder Ed Veal\, and X-Games World Champion Brett Rheeder. This is truly the birthplace of champions. \nThroughout this history\, great friendships have been forged\, skills tested\, and endurance pushed to its limits. But despite the different skill levels and riding expectations of our participants\, we always return to one fundamental truth: The riders who join us at Coulson Hill leave with an experience that will forever change them. The sense of accomplishment and exhilaration will get you addicted. And you will ride more. And you will get stronger and fitter. And you’ll have the time of your life doing it! But don’t say I didn’t warn you. \nFamily & Fun-Focussed What makes our series unique is the broad skill and age range that we draw. For example\, our youngest rider was only 4 years old and our oldest\, 69 years. No other series in Ontario is as family-focussed and fun-oriented as the Coulson Hill Weekly Series. The welcoming vibe at our series is legendary. Everyone there knows the fear and anxiety of coming out for the first time – we’ve all been there! Once you arrive on site\, locate the registration tent\, speak with our friendly team\, let your tension go and watch the arenalin flow. \nWe will ensure you know what to do\, how to share the trails with other users\, how to handle passing\, and what signage to be aware of. Before every race\, we discuss the particulars of a given course and make sure everyone is aware of specific challenges that lay ahead. All technical obstacles are optional. You will never be faced with a situation where you have to ride beyond your abilities – unless you want to! Our Mini-Me participants are treated to their very own simplified course with minimized technical difficulty and reduced climbing. The goal is to create the best possible atmosphere for these budding young riders to ensure that become cyclists for life. \n\n \n\n\nRegister
