SUMMARY:Ride with Heart p/b Project Heart
DESCRIPTION:February is Heart Month in Canada and the U.S. – a time to raise awareness about heart health and take action. \nRide with Heart is hosted by Project Heart\, a Canadian not-for-profit dedicated to educating\, empowering\, and supporting people impacted by heart disease through endurance sport and community. Founded by competitive cyclist Cody McKay\, Project Heart grew from Cody’s experience undergoing open-heart surgery in 2022 at the age of 29 to repair an ascending aortic aneurysm\, followed by a return to competitive racing. \nJoin Cody each Saturday at 10:15 a.m. EST for a social Zwift ride (2w/kg) focused on heart education\, open conversation\, and shared experience. Whether you’re riding to improve your health\, better understand your heart\, or navigate life as a heart patient\, this ride is about learning\, empowerment\, and awareness – because heart health affects all of us. Riders are encouraged to use the Zwift Companion app to chat during the ride\, share their own heart stories\, and ask questions in real time. \nLearn more at www.project-heart.ca and follow @cardiac_cody on Instagram. \nRegistration \nAll the rides are accessible from this link: https://www.zwift.com/ca/events/tag/projectheart
