DESCRIPTION:The Youth Road Development Series kicks into high gear starting June 8th. Ontario Cycling is pleased to partner with Attack Racing for the 2 Youth Road Development Series (YRDS). \nYRDS #1 will be held at the Ontario Police College on the Police Vehicle Operations course. It is a relatively technical 1.6km flat circuit with approximately 8 corners and the width of the course varies\, combining a wide start/finish straight with some narrow corners. YRDS #1 will consist of an Individual Time Trial\, Skills session and Criterium. \n\nRegistration for all YRDS is open to riders 8-18 years old.\nThe event is pre-registration only. Late entries will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. If granted\, will have an additional fee of 50$.\nOut of Province riders must have a UCI license. Licenses will not be sold on the day of the event and must be purchased in advance.\nRegistration for each YRDS closes on the Wednesday before the event.\n\n\nRegistration\n\n\nTech Guide \n  \n \n

DESCRIPTION:The Ontario Cup (OCup) Road Series has finally arrived and will kick into high gear starting April 21st. For the 2024 OCup Road Series\, Ontario Cycling will once again be partnering with Performance Driven Events for four OCups and Provincial Championships. \nA Belgian-style Kermesse\, ideally situated in southwestern Ontario\, the course is just over 15km in length with 114 meters of climbing per lap. The roads themselves will have you thinking you’re riding through the European countryside as you twist and turn through Brant County. Intersections will be controlled by the Hamilton Police Service and medical coverage will be supplied by Odyssey Medical. \n\nRegistration for all OCups is open to riders 15 years of age and older.\nThe event is pre-registration only. Late entries will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. If granted\, will have an additional fee of 50.00$\nOut of Province riders must have a UCI license. Licenses will not be sold on the day of the event and must be purchased in advance.\nFor Ontario athletes only\, all riders must have completed at least 1 OCup in order to compete at the 2024 Provincial Championships.\nRegistration for each OCup will close the Wednesday before the event.\n\nCourse map and elevation: \n\nRegistration\n\n\nTech Guide

SUMMARY:Winspace Ontario Criterium Series - Tussle with the Hustle Toronto Crit - Toronto\, ON
DESCRIPTION:The unprecedented and iconic course will find racers competing on the Downsview Airport tarmac. The loops itself is 1.2km in length with 4 meters of elevation per lap and will feature one highly technical turn after the start/finish. \n\nRegistration\n\n\nTech Guide\n \nRegional Crit Series Point System\nPoints are awarded to the top 15 finishers in all categories\, only riders who purchase their membership through OC are eligible to earn points. Riders who do not finish (DNF) are not entitled to points. Crit Series Champions will be decided by a tally of all the points earned at each Crit event and Provincial Championships for the current year. Top 3 overall in the series for each category will be awarded at Provincial Championships\, winners must attend provincials or risk forfeiting their prize. \nThe breakdown of points are as follows for each category: \n\n\n\nPlace\nPoints\n\n\n\n\n1st\n25\n\n\n2nd\n20\n\n\n3rd\n16\n\n\n4th\n13\n\n\n5th\n11\n\n\n6th\n10\n\n\n7th\n9\n\n\n8th\n8\n\n\n9th\n7\n\n\n10th\n6\n\n\n11th\n5\n\n\n12th\n4\n\n\n13th\n3\n\n\n14th\n2\n\n\n15th\n1\n\n\n\nRiders will earn a x1.2 multiplier to their total 2024 points tally for competing in the 2024 Crit Provincial Championships. To earn the multiplier a rider must both register for Provincial Championships and start their race\, riders who do not start their race (DNS) are not eligible.
