DESCRIPTION:Ride on August 16th to raise awareness for heart and stroke disorder called Aphasia(www.aphasia.ca). The event will raise money for the NBRHC foundation\, helping aid in the current rehabilitation unit. The Nipissing District has hundreds of kilometers of beautiful remote trail systems and dirt roads. By creating the Voyageur 200 events they want to promote this area as a premier destination to explore. SUMMARY:2025 Road Provincial Championships
DESCRIPTION:Aug 22nd – Individual Time Trial Provincial Championships – Grafton\nThis year’s ITT Provincial Championship event will be run at a familiar location for those that have ever participated in any of the Cobourg Cycling Club’s ITT’s. Located on Shelter Valley\, the course is a classic out and back\, with a slight incline heading out and a decline heading back to the finish. It features sweeping corners and majestic scenery as you race alongside a babbling brook. \nThere will be Para categories included at this year Provincial Championship. \nView the ITT Course route here \nITT Registration \nITT Tech Guide – Updated August 6th \n  \nAug 23rd – Criterium Provincial Championships – Cobourg\nWe’re bringing back the classic Tom Jehlicka Crit for this year’s Provincial Championship. The circuit is built for speed with only three corners\, all of which are wide and sweeping. The freshly paved loop is 2.5km in length with only 5 meters of elevation. \nThere will be Para categories included at this year Provincial Championship. \nView the Crit Course route here \nCriterium Registration \nCriterium Tech Guide V3 \n  \nAug 24th – Road Race Provincial Championships – Northumberland\nThe course consists of a 16.5km loop in addition to a 3km out and back from the main loop. Each loop has over 225 meters of elevation and contains a small strip of hard-packed dirt road. The Yellow Line Rule will be strictly enforced. The event is a Poker Challenge\, the farther you ride the more chances to improve your poker hand to win some great prizes. Follow the route\, or get creative with gravel\, fire routes\, and other challenges to navigate to the different waypoints. Routes are from 30K to 130K. Routes meander through beautiful Grey Highlands passing through Walter’s Falls\, Bognor\, Meaford\, Thornbury\, and the picturesque Beaver Valley. Our 26k and 53k routes are family friendly\, while the 77k and 124k routes will challenge intermediate and experienced riders. Conquer Scotch Mountain on the 77k. Climb Wards Hill out of the 122K. All routes feature quiet rural roads\, rolling terrain and spectacular views at every turn! Grey Highlands is truly a cyclist’s paradise! Interested in a bit of a challenge? DESCRIPTION:2026 will be the 68th anniversary of this classic event. It is one of the oldest continuously held bike races on the continent. This annual urban criterium features amateur and professional cyclists racing through the streets of Windsor’s own “Little Italy.” The late afternoon Pro Race is always the highlight of the day. Join the fun\, excitement of great crowds and an atmosphere where bike racing has been a part of the cultural fabric for six decades. There are many great patios located right along the start/finish serving your favourite beverages and great food. \n\n\nYou won’t find many races with a bigger payday. We also feature all cash primes for every race to keep the action furious on the 1.8 km flat and fast course. To ensure organizers could recover deposits on race-related rentals\, the difficult decision was made to cancel. \nWe recognize that this event was a selection event for Team Ontario Athletes.
