SUMMARY:BMX - Rising Stars Summer Program - Etobicoke\, ON
DESCRIPTION:Ontario Cycling’s BMX Rising Stars Summer Program at the Pan AM Track will provide regular training opportunities for riders to develop skills in a supportive and positive training environment. \n Program Objectives\n\nTo provide athletes 12-15 years of age with exposure to a supercross track while also providing an opportunity for the BMX community in Ontario to train together\nTo provide a talent identification opportunity for provincial program coaches \n\n															\n			\n						Application Form\n					\n			\n						Program Document\n					 \nAthlete Applications:\nAthletes must complete application prior to Tuesday May 23 at 5pm. \nProgram selections will be announced prior to Friday May 26th. \nRising Stars Program Athlete Selection Criteria \n\nTop 8 at Canadian Championships & Canada Cups in 2022\nTop 5 USABMX Provincial Champs in 2022\nGender equity\nEqual age distribution\n\n**Athletes currently selected in the Performance Program will not be selected for the Rising Stars program \nTentative Schedule \n\n\n\n\nDate \n\n\nDetails \n\n\n\n\nMay 27 & June 10  \n\n\nTraining sessions \n  \n\n\n\n\nJune 17-18 \n\n\nNationals Preparation Camp  \n\nIncluding Team Ontario Selection\n\n  \n\n\n\n\nJuly 22\, Aug 5\, 19 \n\n\nTraining sessions \n  \n\n\n\n\nSelection Criteria and additional details for this program can be found in the program document.  \nPlease direct any questions about this project to Amber Hutchinson\, OC Technical Lead
