SUMMARY:Advanced Track Skills Clinic - Women's Team Pursuit
DESCRIPTION:Ontario Cycling is pleased to announce a series of one-day Advanced Track Skills clinics for youth cyclists targeting performances at Junior/U17 Canadian Track Championships. Advanced Track Skills Clinic topics include Sprint\, Omniumn\, Madison\, Team Pursuit\, and Standing Starts.  All camps will be lead by Provincial Track Coach\, David Jack\, and other guest coaches and include off-bike workshop components. \nAthletes must be age-eligible to compete at the 2026 Junior/U19 Track Championships and have previous race experience at National Championships or Provincial Championships in the U17/U19 categories. \n*Registration closes 5 days before the event. \nAdvanced Track Skills Schedule and Registrations: \nNovember 1: Advanced Track Skills Clinic (Women’s Team Pursuit) – REGISTER HERE \n\nNovember 22: Advanced Track Skills Clinic (Omnium) – REGISTER HERE \n\nDecember 20: Advanced Track Skills Clinic (Madison) – REGISTER HERE \n\nJanuary 31: Advanced Track Skills Clinic (Standing Start) – REGISTRATION OPEN SOON \n\nFebruary 14: Advanced Track Skills Clinic (Sprint #2) – REGISTRATION OPEN SOON \n\nMarch 7: Advanced Track Skills Clinic (Madison #2) – REGISTRATION OPEN SOON \n\nIn addition to the track time\, each session will include one hour of off-track programming (i.e. nutrition\, strength & conditioning\, video review\, etc.). \nThe tentative schedule is 12pm – 4:30pm.  The exact schedule will be shared 3-5 days before the event via e-mail.

SUMMARY:Rising Stars Talent Identification Camp
DESCRIPTION:Ontario Cycling will be hosting a Rising Stars Track Talent Identification Camp on Saturday November 8. The camp will be focused on developing athletes primarily in the U15 category but will be open to newer athletes in the U17 category (i.e. those not attending the Advanced Skills Clinics).  The camp will serve as an opportunity to both introduce athletes to the type of training conducted at the Ontario Track Academy and assess athletes for invitation to attend the upcoming 3-part Rising Stars Camp Series.  \nRising Stars ID Camp Registration  \nRising Stars Camp Dates (Invite Only – Must attend and be selected at Rising Stars ID Camp)  \n\nDecember 13 (Standing Start/Sprint) \n\n\nJanuary 10 (Team Pursuit)  \n\n\nFebruary 21 (Omnium) \n\n  \nThe themes of the camps are based on the corresponding OCup/Provincials in order to provide athletes with additional opportunities to learn the appropriate skills/strategies required to put forth their best effort at races.  \n  \n*Each camp will include a sport science education workshop and/or video session.  The cost per camp will be $60.  \nAthlete Requirements*  \n\nAged 13-17 in 2026 (exception considered on a case by case basis) \n\n\nOC Membership (UCI/Compete/Challenge) \n\n\nMilton Track Certified \n\n\nPrevious race experience at OC Youth Track Development Series\, Provincial Championships\, or NCIM Race Nights  \n\n\nCommitted to racing 2025-2026 OCups & Provincial Championships \n\n  \n*Any questions regarding eligibility or appropriateness of the camp can be directed to michael.selliah@ontariocycling.org
