DESCRIPTION:Ontario Cycling\, with support from Canadian Sport Institute Ontario (CSIO) & Coaches Association of Ontario (CAO)\, is proud to announce the Sport Performance Coach Conference on December 2nd & 3rd in Scarborough\, ON.  \nThe conference is open to OC members and non-OC members that focus on Competition Development and High-Performance levels of coaching experience and cycling disciplines. NCCP Professional Development (PD) points will be provided to coaches attending the conference. \nSPEAKERS AND TOPICS\nApplication of Sport Physiology – Ollie Armstrong\, Sport Physiologist (CSIO) \n\n\n\nPart 1\, Training Zones\nPart 2\, Periodization\n\n\n\nFueling Rates and Differences in Training Intensities – Kevin Iwasa-Madge\, Sport Nutritionist (CSIO/CC) \nCoaching implications of Fueling Rates and Differences in Training Intensities – Jenny Trew\, High Performance Coach \nTorque/Cadence Relationship – Greg Lewandowski\, Strength & Conditioning Specialist (CSIO/CC) \nApplication of Torque/Cadence Data – Stephen McMullan\, Track Sprint Coach (CSIO/CC) \nConcurrent Training – Greg Lewandowski\, Strength & Conditioning Specialist (CSIO/CC) \nCOACH BREAKOUT ROOMS\nCoaches will be provided the opportunity to join breakout rooms with each speaker for individualized and small group discussion and Q&A opportunities. \nPhysiology and YTP Planning – Ollie Armstrong\, Sport Physiologist (CSIO) \nSport Nutrition – Kevin Iwasa-Madge\, Sport Nutritionist (CSIO/CC) \nStrength & Conditioning – Greg Lewandowski\, Strength & Conditioning Specialist (CSIO/CC) \nSport Biomechanics – Will George\, Biomechanist (CSIO/CC) \nFemale Coaches – Jenny Trew\, High Performance Coach \n															\n			\n						REGISTER\n					 \nEarly Bird Registration is $85.00+HST and includes lunch/snacks. Space is limited and will be on a first come first serve basis. \nNon-Member Registration will open on November 1\, 2023.  \nOC Refund Policy\nIf the course is cancelled by Ontario Cycling a 100% refund including CCN fees will be issued. \nIf a participant withdraws from the course more than 14 days before\, they are eligible for a full refund minus CCN fees. \nIf withdrawing between 7 and 14 days before a course\, they are eligible for a 50% refund minus CCN fees. \nThere will be no refunds if participants need to withdraw within 7 days of the course taking place.
