SUMMARY:Road - OCup #2 Lansdowne - Lansdowne\, ON
DESCRIPTION:The Ontario Cup (OCup) Road Series has finally arrived and will kick into high gear starting April 21st. For the 2024 OCup Road Series\, Ontario Cycling will once again be partnering with Performance Driven Events for four OCups and Provincial Championships. \nThe Lansdowne Road Race is a lollipop style course located 30 minutes east of Kingston Ontario. The 14km loop features only 20m in elevation with a 4km out and back section from the start/finish at the Thousand Islands Elementary School. This is by far the flattest road racecourse of the year\, so we encourage all of Ontario’s top sprinters to attend! \n\nRegistration for all OCups is open to riders 15 years of age and older.\nThe event is pre-registration only. Late entries will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. If granted\, will have an additional fee of 50.00$\nOut of Province riders must have a UCI license. Licenses will not be sold on the day of the event and must be purchased in advance.\nFor Ontario athletes only\, all riders must have completed at least 1 OCup in order to compete at the 2024 Provincial Championships.\nRegistration for each OCup will close the Wednesday before the event.\n\nCourse map and elevation \n\nRegistration\n\n\nTech Guide

Inspired by the vintage rides of Europe\, Turas Mór – meaning ‘Great Journey’ in Gaelic – is a cycling journey on gravel and non-gravel roads through the rolling hills of Creemore. DESCRIPTION:Basic Cyling Skills @ Peterborough\, ON – 9:00am – 4:00pm EST \nFee: \n$120.00 +HST \nInstructor:  \nAlex Roger \nWorkshop Description:  \nBasic Cycling Skills provides an opportunity for “on-bike” practice in skill teaching and analysis\, coaching\, and provided lesson plans. The program is simple\, based on several pre-designed lesson plans\, and adaptable to participants’ varying skill and ability levels. The program’s focus is on having participants develop skills that are basic to MTB\, BMX\, and Road\, in a controlled\, off-road\, off-trail setting such as a sports field or parking lot. \nThe Basic Cycling Skills course is cross-listed with the Intro to Competition & Community Initiation NCCP coaching stream. \nOC Refund Policy: \nIf the course is cancelled by Ontario Cycling a 100% refund including CCN fees will be issued. \nIf a participant withdraws from the course more than 14 days before\, they are eligible for a full refund minus CCN fees. \nIf withdrawing between 7 and 14 days before a course\, they are eligible for a 50% refund minus CCN fees. \nThere will be no refunds if participants need to withdraw within 7 days of the course taking place. \n\n\nRegistration
