DESCRIPTION:Woodnewton\, the iconic season opener for the Ontario Cup series is returning! Woodnewton\, located in Uxbridge\, just 15 minutes north of Whitby\, offers exceptional early season riding conditions with its sandy soils\, southern exposure\, and remarkable trails that are exclusively accessible during events. In keeping with the surrounding trails in Durham Forest\, Woodnewton offers a great selection of fast\, flowy and technical single and double track trails. \nFeaturing a blend of hand-built and machine-built trails\, as well as challenging sustained climbs\, Woodnewton serves as the ideal launching pad for the series. DESCRIPTION:Basic Cyling Skills @ Asticou Centre\nPlease note: This event has been newly added due to high demand \nFee: \n$120.00 +HST \nInstructor:  \nFred Zottl \nWorkshop Description:  \nBasic Cycling Skills provides an opportunity for “on-bike” practice in skill teaching and analysis\, coaching\, and provided lesson plans. The program is simple\, based on several pre-designed lesson plans\, and adaptable to participants’ varying skill and ability levels. The program’s focus is on having participants develop skills that are basic to MTB\, BMX\, and Road\, in a controlled\, off-road\, off-trail setting such as a sports field or parking lot. \nThe Basic Cycling Skills course is cross-listed with the Intro to Competition & Community Initiation NCCP coaching stream. \nOC Refund Policy: \nIf the course is cancelled by Ontario Cycling a 100% refund including CCN fees will be issued. \nIf a participant withdraws from the course more than 14 days before\, they are eligible for a full refund minus CCN fees. \nIf withdrawing between 7 and 14 days before a course\, they are eligible for a 50% refund minus CCN fees. \nThere will be no refunds if participants need to withdraw within 7 days of the course taking place. \n\nRegistration
