SUMMARY:BMX Rising Stars Camp #1
DESCRIPTION:Ontario Cycling will be hosting a BMX Rising Stars Camp at JoyRide150 on Friday January 27th. The Rising Stars program is designed for athletes 12-14 years of age to develop skills in a safe and positive training environment. This camp will focus on Bike Handling and Pumping. Athletes must apply to attend. \nLocation: JoyRide150 \nDate: Friday January 27th from 9-11am \nCamp Staff: Britney Hovencamp (Lead coach)\, Support Coaches TBA \nCost: $50 (camp fee includes day pass at JoyRide. If you require a bike\, rentals are available from JoyRide) \nAthlete requirements: 12-14 years old in 2023 and current member of Ontario Cycling [Provincial Race License or UCI] \nAthletes must complete applications HERE. \nApplication deadline is Sunday Jan. 15th\, 2023. \nAthletes will receive notification of selection prior to Friday Jan. 20th\, 2023. \n\n \n\nSupport Coach Application: Coaches interested in supporting this camp are asked to email Amber Hutchinson – Technical Lead. \nPlease direct any questions to Amber Hutchinson.
