DESCRIPTION:Hardwood Wednesday Night Races\nWhether a returning or new rider\, an experienced or new racer\, we welcome you to the Hardwood Wednesday Night Cyclocross Races. You can enter just one race\, do a few\, or the whole series. We welcome all ages and abilities. \n\nRegister here\n\n\nWebsite\n\n\n\nFacebook\n\n\nTwitter\n\n\nInstagram\n\n \nThe course is designed to challenge all level of riders! Riders will do multiple laps on an off-road course that includes a double track start into corners and other elements that will keep you on your toes. \nThe first two weeks will run a simpler and easier course as an introduction. After that\, the course will be the same as Eastern Challenge and Ontario Cup courses. \nRacers will be challenged by some sandy off camber descents and climbs. This course has lots of high speed pedaling\, steep climbs\, and tight cornering.

SUMMARY:Cyclo-Cross - Nordic Cats 'Cross Club Cyclocross Race Series
DESCRIPTION:Nordic Cats ‘Cross Club\nWe started off as a group of cyclo-cross riders who were training in school yards and parks doing drills and intervals to hone our skills.  Our club has grown into a full blown race series at a permanent venue located at Pete’s Windy Hill Farm at 275445 27th Line\, Thamesford\, ON. \n\nRegister here\n\n\nWebsite\n\n\n\nFacebook\n\n\nTwitter\n\n\nInstagram\n\n \nWe train and race on Wednesday evenings from mid-August to the end of October.  We race rain or shine\, but not if there’s lightning. \n​If you’re new to cycling and want to give cyclo-cross a try\, the Nordic Cats ‘Cross Club is the perfect venue for introducing you into the fun (and sometimes wacky) world of cyclo-cross.  If you’re an experienced racer looking to test your limits against some of Ontario’s fastest riders\, this is the series for you!

DESCRIPTION:Registration \nOctober 12\, 14\, 17\, 19\, 21 and 24 \nCOACHES\nNCCP COACHING COURSES\nThe National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP) is the Coaching Association of Canada’s flagship program\, and has been identified as a world leader in coach education. The NCCP gives coaches the confidence to succeed and is designed & delivered in partnership with the government of Canada\, provincial/territorial governments\, and national/provincial/territorial sport organizations. \nCycling has three NCCP coaching contexts\, depending on the level of coaching; Let’s Ride! Community Initiation; Ready to Race! Introduction to Competition and Performance Cycling\, Competition Development. \n \n\n\n\n1. Context: Let’s Ride! Community Initiation \nLet’s Ride! targets coaches who will primarily work with novice and pre-competitive cyclists at the community level\, including participants in the Active Start\, FUNdamentals and early Learn to Train stages of Athlete Development.\n*These courses are administered by your Cycling Provincial Association \n2. Context: Ready to Race! Introduction to Competition \nReady to Race! Introduction to Competition (R2R) is the context for coaches who will primarily work with new competitive cyclists at the community and club level. These athletes will likely be in the Learn to Train to Train to Train stages of LTAD\, although the context could apply to any new racer of any age.\n*The Ready to Race! Evaluations are administered by Cycling Canada \n3. Context: Performance Cycling Competition Development \nReady to Race! Introduction to Competition (R2R) is the context for coaches who will primarily work with new competitive cyclists at the community and club level. Certified coaches must accumulate 20 points for Intro to Competition\, and 30 points for Competition Development status every five years in order to maintain their certification.
