DESCRIPTION:Gran Challenge. Gran Bike Kit. Gran Fondo. Give yourself a Gran Challenge this summer. The Thousand Islands Gran Fondo combines a beautiful ride\, a series of challenges for both newer and experienced cyclists\, and a great jersey to reward yourself with.\nThe Thousand Islands Gran Fondo was created to encourage folks of all abilities and levels to get fit and active by challenging themselves to one of our three routes (80/120/160km). The event date is purposely selected in September to allow riders to get fit over the summer and be ready for one of the distances in September. The 2022 will be the best edition of the event we have ever hosted! A new pre-event challenge\, in-person ride date\, and NEW post-ride Food and Fuel Party! This year the fondo will include our 3-month Thousand Islands Summer Fondo Challenge to prepare you for our in-person ride on September 11\, 2022! A challenge that will inspire you for months and will get you ready to conquer any distance event. \nWe have three different routes you can ride: 80km\, 120km and 160km. You will also get a ticket to the best Food and Fuel Party we have ever hosted. We have linked up with the River Mill Restaurant which is right at the finish line to provide food and drink for all riders and spectators. It will be a fantastic setting as we take over the huge outdoor patio and set up outside the River Mill Restaurant along the Cataraqui River. It will be a great way to reconnect with all our fondo friends! \nWebsite \nRegistration
