Become a commissaire
From grass roots to international competition, learn more about providing a fair and safe sport by becoming a Commissaire. The first step involves participating in the General Commissaire “level C” Course. Completion of this general course grants participants with the “Technical Assistant” level of certification where they will be invited to complete 3 unpaid TA assignments in the discipline of their choice.
Upon completion of the three TA assignments and positive evaluations, TA’s will then obtain their Provincial Level C certification. At this point, all assignments will be paid roles and the assigned Commissaires at the events are relatively unassisted.
The various levels of certification (C, B, A, National etc.) are discipline-specific and Commissaires are encouraged to pursue multiple disciplines as there is typically overlap in both the rules and regulations.
