Nicole Springle is a Registered Dietitian with a Bachelor of Honours Degree and a Master’s in Applied Nutrition from the University of Guelph. With over a decade of experience in elite sports nutrition, she has worked extensively with both developmental and nationally carded Olympic and Paralympic athletes across multiple sports. Currently, as a sport nutritionist for Cycling Canada, Nicole oversees nutrition for the national sprint cycling program, ensuring athletes perform at their peak. Beyond her role in sport nutrition, Nicole is the Manager of the CSIO RTC-Milton, where she leads a multidisciplinary team of high-performance practitioners and fosters relationships with key performance partners.
A recognized leader in the field, Nicole is the national lead of Sport Nutrition for Own the Podium’s (OTP) High Performance Advisory Council, representing dietitians across the Canadian Olympic and Paralympic Sport Institute Network and National Sport Organizations. As a strong advocate for women in sport, she also chaired OTP’s Women in Sport Science Mentorship program, designing a national initiative to elevate female leaders in sport science.
