Ontario Cycling and the Handcycling Club of Canada are happy to announce the Para-cycling Festival in the Niagara region from May 29 to June 1, 2025. The festival will include a development camp (supported by the Paralympic Sport Development Fund) and a racing weekend (supported by Sport Canada’s Community Sport for All Initiative).
Development Camp [May 29-30]
The two-day camp will be led by former Paralympian Joey Desjardins and other supporting coaches. The camp is open to new and experienced handcyclists and will focus on:

Racing Weekend
The racing weekend, which will take place at the Dunnville Air Park on Saturday May 31 and Sunday June 1, is an opportunity for para-cyclists of all disciplines and ability levels. Dunnville provides a completely closed race course ensuring a safe environment for racing with viewing of the entire race course. The weekend will be split into a formal race day on the Saturday and more recreational/fun-based exhibition racing on the Sunday (both days are open to all experience and ability levels).

Afternoon – Road Race
Sunday June 1 (Exhibition Racing)
Morning – Fastest lap/Criterium style racing
