GOALS
1. Risk Management – We will create a proactive culture of safety at organized and sanctioned competitive cycling events. We will develop the framework for the safe operation of these events.
2. Events – we will take a leadership position in increasing visibility, quality and access to organized and sanctioned competitive cycling events across Ontario.
3. Outreach – take a proactive approach to ensure cycling activities are affiliated with the OCA. We will focus the majority of our energy and resources on the clubs/membership that help us realize our vision
4. Athlete Development – we will support the development of young athletes from the regional and club level to national and trade team level.
5. Structure and Efficiency – we will ensure the OCA is designed to support the achievement of our yearly and long term operational plan. We will integrate technology to support these efforts.
The OCA is the provincial governing body for Road, Track & Cyclocross, Mountain Biking, BMX racing and Trials in Ontario. We are proudly affiliated to the Canadian Cycling Association. This website is the information hub for our members and the wider cycling community wishing to find out more about the sport of cycling in Ontario.
